Finding a location in Berlin?
Hi

Is anybody Local to Berlin; or knows Berlin very well? I am travelling there in a few weeks and need to track a location down.

Ive seen the film "The Baader Meinhof Complex" and would like to see Ulrike Mienhof’s gravestone.
Ive been on Google Maps and tracked the location to:

Heilig-Kreuz-Kirchhof, Mariendorf,
Cemetery, which I believe is North of Tegel Airport.
Ive found U-Bhan stations around the area although they look a distance away. Does anybody know if the cemetery is in realistic walking distance; and how long it would take to walk from the nearest U-Bhan Station?

Also is the cemetery large; is her grave easy to locate. Ive tracked down its in "Zone A"? Does anybody know where that is in the cemetery?

In reality Ulrike Meinhof is burried in the city of Stuttgart not in Berlin so you won’t find her gravestone there.
The burial was very controvers at the time the major of Stuttgart defended the right of the terrorists to get a burial place and said that with the dead even terrorists aren’t to be considered as public ennemies anymore

My Mom's lost her mind…what can I do?
My parents are in town visiting my girlfriend & I for the first time. My parents had never met any of my previous girlfriend’s because I didn’t actually love them like I love my current girl. She was nervous so she kissing on me (not a whole lot) & was sitting really close to me. My Mom didn’t like that so she sat in between us & told my girlfriend that only she could kiss on me.

After they left for the hotel last night,I asked a question on here about the above stuff then took the advice of talking to my girl about kissing on me & sitting so close to me. She said she wouldn’t do it & today she didn’t. My Mom kept giving her looks today & while my Dad and my girl talked. When my Dad asked my Mom what was wrong with her,my Mom pretty much jumped (figuratively) on my girlfriend (this a quote) ""She was all on my baby yesterday & now she’s acting like he has the plague. My baby deserves better then her."" My Dad tried talking to her & then I did,she still won’t comprehend that I’m NOT her baby anymore.

I tried talking to her & my Dad tried,my Mom just won’t understand that I’m 19 & grown. Is there anything else to try before I get to the point where my girl & I just do what we want or are we already at that point?
We have 2 more days of my parents being in town to get through.

Oh you just need to forgive your mom for being so rude. She loves you too much and can’t stand to see someone else loving you too. She will get over it in time. Sometimes it takes people a while to get along with someone new to the family. Right now your mom probably feels your girl friend is stealing you away from her. Guess what, You will always be your mom’s baby even after you get married. I know because I am a mother and I always call my son who is 40 yrs old my baby boy. He is married and has two sons of their own and I love all of his family and his wife too. I never was rude to him about his wife when she kisses him and hugs him. But then you are still young to your mother. But your mother didn’t mean to hurt your feelings or your girlfriends because she is just having a hard time letting you go. Things will work out in time. The only way anyone can have any power over you is if you allow them to. Why are you so worried about what you mother thinks? You are "19 and grown" so time to show it or your girlfriend will be gone. Tell your mom you love her but this is your life and your choices, not hers, You understand if she doesn’t agree with your decisions but she still has to respect them. You will discover if you don’t worry so much about what your mother thinks and she discovers her anger or pouts or moods don’t have much affect on you anymore, things will change. She is who she is, you are the one who needs to change. If you do it with love and kindness then it will all work out but stop allowing her to have that kind of power over you.

You also need to do some damage control with your girlfriend and some apologizing as you just chose your mother’s wishes over hers and she can’t be feeling very good about that right now. However, if you look around at most couples in public they tend to not kiss and touch when others are around. You might not want to be expressing those feelings in front of others like that. Holder her hand or one light kiss is just fine.

It can be a weird experience for a mother to see "another woman" in her son’s life; it takes some getting used to. Not everyone is comfortable with public displays of affection, and what you may see as an insignificant act may make your mom feel uneasy. But she should not have said anything in front of your girlfriend. If she had to speak up, she should have talked to you privately.

Just tell her that since she seemed uncomfortable with your girlfriend kissing you in her presence, your girlfriend agreed to stop doing it out of courtesy to her. You don’t owe her any more explanation or accommodation than that. Ignore her comments but also don’t do anything in front of her that you know will bother her.

These matters will need to be settled beforehand if you and your girlfriend plan on marrying. It may be that your mom is having trouble adjusting to the idea she is losing you to another woman. That happens sometimes.

Please Help me figure this out?
The backstory is that my wife and I have been married for 9 years and we have 3 year old twins. I hurt her very bad over the years with my gambling problem, which I have stopped doing finally about 7 months ago, but a little too late. She started cheating on me about 4 months ago because she lost the love and intimacy she once felt for me and found it with another man. After a month and a half of trying to get her back I got nowhere. She was vengeful towards me and would say and do the meanest things by flaunting this new guy in my face. She started having him sleep at our house overnight (I already moved out) and she started letting him be around our kids. He would be there with my family when I would stop over and it was like a dagger in my heart every time. She was constantly telling me that she didn’t love me anymore and doubted the feelings could ever return or if she could ever get past the resentment towards me. On top of that she said "how could she look past the feelings she developed for him and act like they weren’t there when they are". She finally agreed to go to counseling but for different reasons then mine. She said she wanted to find out if she could get past the resentment and find out if the love could ever return for me and she wanted to know if the feelings for the other guy were really for him or for the "grass is greener" scenario she had with him. We went to counseling on Saturday. Tom, the counselor asked why we were there. I said to try and save our marriage and she said that she was there for me, but not with me and that she wanted me to let her go. Tom asked me what I heard her say and I told them that she wants me to let her go, and because I had been selfish for so many years that it was time I started to think about what she wanted and I would do as she asked and let her go. Tom then asked me to give them a few minutes to speak alone. I left the room. When he called me back in he said that he recommended we get legally separated because after speaking with her he determined that she does still have feelings for me and she was confused about a lot of things that she needs time to sort out. He said the one year separation will give her the time to find out if her feelings for the other guy are real or not since they just met 4 months ago and both came out of long term relationships. And it would also give her time to see if any of the feelings she once had for me could return. We both agreed that this was a good plan. After counseling I dropped her off at home and left. 15 minutes later she called me to see if I was ok, I told her not really, she said she wanted me to know that things between her and the other guy weren’t as rosy as she had been making them seem. The next day she called and asked if I would like to go to lunch with her and the kids, which I was happy to do. After lunch she asked me if I wanted to go home and put up the xmas tree and decorations with her, I said sure. Then Monday night she called me to see what was new and how things were going. Just small talk. She asked me if I had found a new job yet and I told her I was still looking. She said she would look too and let me know if she finds anything. She called me 10 minutes later and told me about one she thought looked good and would email me the information on it.

So now that you have an idea as to what has been happening I am looking for some advice to things I am confused about and what I should do. The "new" way she is acting towards me, since counseling on Saturday, is completely different. She is being nice and we get along as good as can be. She told me that she spoke to the counselor and felt great that he agreed with her about something. I asked her what it was and she told me that the only reason she brought the other guy into our home and allowed him to sleep over and meet our kids is because her parents were pressuring her to for the sake of the kids. They told she would never know if he was right or not if she didn’t see him interact with them. Their main concern was for the kids because she was spending a lot of time away from them to be with him instead, and of she let him into the home and around the kids then she would be there more often for them as a result. She felt it was way too early to combine the two worlds but gave in to their pressure even though she disagreed. She told me that she asked the counselor his opinion and he told her not to have the other guy at the house anymore and to keep him away from our kids until a few months down the road when she could figure out if her feelings for him are real or not. She called the other guy and told him this, he was not exactly happy I guess. Even though we just had the counseling session on Saturday, she went from seeing the other guy almost daily to not seeing him Saturday, Sunday or Monday as far as I know. But I did see a text message on her phone Sunday to him that said "I love you", unfortunately I didn’t check the date it was sen

I’m a 45 yr old woman. I’m actually in love with my GP. Hes 31. Hes not married but seems to have a gf. Hes real friendly to me and theres chemistry. I’m constantly going to him for ‘obesisty’ issues. I’ve high bp and high cholestrol aswell and atsma from heavy smoking. Hes refered me to a nutrionist, but to him looking for ‘support’! I dont work so my appointments are free. I dont have to whack out a consultation fee!! he he! or i’d be bankrupt!Every time i go there (at least onece per week) he gives me motivational speech. We go thrugh a whole weigh in. When i dont lose weight, i’m ‘very upset’ and he says ‘kind things’! This melts my heart ! I leave feeling loved and supported. I’ve not cleaned my ears out and i’ve huge wax build up so i can go there tommorow! How can i ask him out? I’ve tried poilte conversation but hes very vague and doesnt reveal much about his personal life although i offer loads. I’ve now invested in outdoor gear and am thinking of goign in to the surgery all kitted out for a climb. I’ve done some enquiring in his village and found out hes into hiking. If he sees me kitted out in that gear he may ask me to join his club, i’ll drop serious hints. My friend says wear risque lingerie to my ‘weigh ins’ and encourage him that way, get him thinking. What you think? I dont want lectures about ethics.

Yes you can. As long as he is no longer your GP when you start a relationship. If he does start a relationship with you whilst he’s your GP then that is illegal. This is not ethics but Practice law.

I’m not going to lecture you about ethics, but I think you are wasting your time trying to seduce your gp. The main reason my answer is this is because if he was to have an affair with you he would lose his profession because it is a violation of patient/doctor relations and he wouldn’t risk that for you. Another reason is he probably already has a girlfriend and is much younger than you and frankly, he doesn’t sound attracted to you and he is just doing his job and trying to be professional.

i think that this is very strange. the lengths your going to to see your gp because you have a crush and if he does have a girlfriend i think you should back off. i think maybe you should get out the house abit (other places than your doctors!) and get a life away from your doctors. I’d see it as stalking what your doing and that’s abit creepy!.

but if he has a girlfriend its very unlikely that he’ll be looking for ‘that’ kind of relationship with you.
